Administration
interim Principal, Anna Lazzarini
On January 17th, Anna Lazzarini will assume the role of Interim Middle School Principal. Ms. Lazzarini retired from the Mill Valley School District in June of 2021 after serving as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal for 10 years of their Middle School. During her time at Mill Valley Middle School, Anna and her team led the school through enrollment growth, master schedule changes, new state curriculum mandates, a 1:1 iPad program, and social emotional program development.
Anna’s personal philosophy about education is that students and staff need to feel welcome, safe, and accepted at school, in order for teaching and learning to be the primary focus. Anna has lived in Marin since 1980 and she and her husband raised three children in Mill Valley before moving to Novato in 2019. She enjoys every moment she can spend with her family, especially with her four grandkids ages 1 - 6 years old. Anna is looking forward to being a member of the Miller Creek Middle community for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year.
