Sept. 17 Miller Creek Club Fair during lunch

This year, all Miller Creek students will have the opportunity to capture, exhibit and answer the question “Who am I” thanks to the vertical articulation of the Identity Poster project. Great Job Panthers!

We are so excited to begin our Clubs this year! The Miller Creek Club Fair will take place on Friday, Sept. 17th during lunch where our Panthers will be able to check out ALL the different club offerings, funded by Can Do!

Panther Wear Online Store

The Panther Wear Online Store is closing Sunday, September 12,2021. Please use this link to shop now and show your Panther Pride in some stylish looks, sponsored by the Home and School Club.

Brunch Snacks

Thanks to our Home and School Club, the Creek Café will begin selling muffins, pretzels and breakfast buns starting on Monday for $1 (cash only).

Refillable Water Bottles

Please send your student with a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during the school day. Miller Creek has four water bottle refilling stations: one near the field and the other on the M-Building near room M2, one outside of classroom E1 and one across the courtyard from the Wellness Center on the back side of the administrative building. We are committed to reducing single use plastic at Miller Creek.

Wellness Center

This week the Wellness center hosted several lunchtime activities: mindful coloring, courtyard yoga, and game time in the Panther Lounge. Check out these photos of our mindful coloring.

Panther Lifeskills & Extended Homeroom Activity

Friday students participated in a teambuilding activity in their homeroom classes. September’s life skill is TEAMWORK and students discussed what it means to be a Panther. Ask your student to share the words on their TEAMWORK bracelets. These monthly themes are aligned with the board adopted CASEL framework.

With Suicide Prevention week coming to an end, it is important that every student has the continued mental health support they might need at school. Can Do! is proud to be funding the new Wellness Center & Coordinator on campus, as well as supporting the counseling services.

The Wellness Center provides many resources for your student. It is a place for them to go when they need a brain break from class, eat lunch if they feel they need a quiet place or meet new friends, a place for small group counseling, and other wellness related clubs to take place.

These services, as well as the other integral programs, would not be possible without your support. We are so grateful to the 136 families from Miller Creek Middle School that have already donated

Every donation matters, so please donate today!
