Spring Break

On behalf of the Miller Creek Middle School teachers, staff, and administration, we hope that you and your family have a wonderful and safe Spring Recess. Please review this important communication from Marin County Health Department Travel Guidance and Recommendations for schools and traveling during Spring Break. Additional resources can be found here.

Please let us know if your student develops symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell, fever of 100.4 degrees or greater, chills, headache, sore throat, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea) or has been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms over Spring Break. You can email the school nurse (jganorkar@millercreeksd.org) or call the attendance/office at 415-492-3775 and leave a message.

Revised Bell Schedule

Starting on April 19th, our sixth graders will have a longer day on campus. Please review the new sixth grade spring bell schedule here. Parents can find the letter sent to the community on 4/19/21 here. We have scheduled a 6th grade Parent Meeting on April 14th to describe the schedule, procedures for break and lunch, and address questions. The meeting recording and the slide deck will be available by 5:00 pm that same day. You can find the meeting link here.

The schedule for 7th and 8th grade will remain the same for the time being. We will continue to analyze the impact of shifting the 7th and 8th grade 5th and 6th periods, which are currently remote, to on campus. We will provide an update to our community as appropriate.

Bus Service

Please be advised that bus service will resume on 4/12 with limited capacity and limited bus routes. If your family is able to participate, you would have been contacted by the transportation department. Please note that the Bus loop (closest to the pavillion) will no longer be accessible for cars. Please drop off/pick up your student on the right side of the parking lot.

Lunch Service

All students eat for free for the duration of the 2020/21 school year! Any student attending school in the Miller Creek School District is eligible for lunch at no cost. Please create or update an account at https://www.thelunchmaster.com/register/ with the code millercreekmiddle and place your lunch order by Thursday, April 8th by 10 am.
