This week was Say Something Week at Miller Creek. Say Something Week is a mental health awareness week that helps teach youth to “Say Something” to a trusted adult if they’re concerned about a friend. Students created posters in their homerooms displaying ways they can ACT (acknowledge, care, tell) or be an Upstander. It was so great to see so many students participate this week by wearing Green as a statement of support. Panthers Rock!
Once again, Panther families, it is with grateful hearts that we thank you SO MUCH for your efforts in The Kindness Challenge Fundraiser. We have now grossed $30,048! ($5,000 over our goal.) And once the expenses are tallied, we should net around $27,000, making this the most profitable MCMS fundraiser ever. Remarkable generosity – especially in these times.
Now our students get to reap the rewards of their efforts – they’ll be receiving emails to choose their prizes based on raising $100 and $250/+, and the raffle for all students who registered will take place Thursday, April 1st. Good luck to your Panthers!
Warm regards,
Your Home & School Club
